How to create a DDF data feed

Linking your website to the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA’s) Data Distribution Facility (DDF) is quick, easy and simple. Here is step by step instructions on how you can link your website.

Step 1: Login to

Go to

  1. Select your Board or Association from the drop down
  2. Enter your User I.D.
  3. Enter your Password
  4. Click Sign In

Note: If you do not have your credentials to login to you should be able to attain these by either getting help from your brokerage or by calling CREA support.

Step 2: Creating the DDF Feed

  1. Click the DDF link at the top of the page
  2. Click on Create/Edit Data Feeds
  3. Click the link (If you would like to create a Data Feed, click here.)

Step 3: Data Feeds

  1. Click Add a Data Feed

Step 4: Add a Data Feed

  1. Choose “National Shared Pool” from the list of type’s of data feeds
  2. Next select “I will be engaging a 3rd party Technology Provider to operate my Data Feed”
  3. From the list of technology providers, find and select “Cloudroya Corporation”
  4. Type the website domain name you will be using for your site
  5. Select “I want the Data Feed to PROVIDE ALL available listings”
  6. Next “Click to review your Data Feed before Saving it.”

Step 5: Data Feed Summary

  1. Review the information (go back to step 4 to make and changes)
  2. Read the terms of use
  3. Click to agree to the terms and save your data feed

Step 6: Retrieve your API Username & Password

After clicking on "agree" to save your data. You should be able to see the list of your technology providers. Click on "CloudRoya" to get your API username and password.

Step 7: Enter your Username & Password into CREA DDF App
